Full mechanical design and assembly

  • Designed a gear-driven rotating needle distribution mechanism using a planetary and ring gear system to convert central torque into controlled orbital motion

  • Optimised needle path using a spirograph-based motion profile to maximise surface coverage with minimal rotational cycle

  • Developed understanding of torque transfer, gear ratios, and mechanical efficiency within compact assemblie

  • Demonstrates application of mechanical design principles to achieve efficient motion transfer in compact systems
